Our 5th Birthday will be here before you know it. Time flies when you're having fun! November 13, 14 & 15 we will be celebrating with cake, door prizes and 20% savings for you on fabric, books, notions & patterns. Be sure to pick up a square of our challenge fabric for our block contest. (More info below.)
We are hosting a jacket workshop by Margaret Winder of Morning Glory designs. The workshop will take place in 2 sessions, November 7 and November 21 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. We have 2 samples of her jackets on display in the shop and lots of variety in patterns. You may choose any one of her patterns for the workshop. Cost is $45.00. Space is limited so don't procrastinate on this one!

"PICTURE THIS!" from the Happy Hour Book by Atkinson Designs is a perfect follow-up to our beginning series. This great projects uses fat quarters or half yards and is a fun way to increase your skills. Thursday, October, 1 from 1:00-4:00 P.M. Book required. $30.00
"HOLIDAY BOUNTY" Table Runner from the book: Skinny Quilts & Table Runners. This quick and easy project will make a great addition to your Holiday dining. Bet you can't make just one! Our wonderful fall and Christmas fabrics are the perfect choice for this project. Why not make a set of coordinating napkins too? Book required. Thursday, October 8, from 1:00-4:00 P.M. $30.00

TO CELEBRATE OUR 5TH BIRTHDAY IN STYLE, WE WILL BE HAVING A BLOCK CHALLENGE. COME IN AND PICK UP A SQUARE OF OUR CHALLENGE FABRIC. THE BLOCK SIZE MUST BE 12 1/2 INCHES SQUARE, BUT MAY BE ANY PATTERN YOU CHOOSE AS LONG AS YOU USE SOME OF OUR CHALLENGE FABRIC IN IT. BLOCKS MUST BE TURNED IN BY NOVEMBER 12, 2009. We have received lots of new fabric since the last e-mail, including the ever-popular "Fruit Ladies". These whimsical bathing beauties make up into really cute aprons, pot holders, placemats, etc.
We also have a new panel called "Wing It" that features vibrantly colored butterflies and dragon flies. It's sure to brighten up any decor.
Also new is the next installment of "Nature's Palette" by Northcott. This month's delivery is the darker colors just in time for fall projects. We have fat quarters as well as bolts. These fabrics are reminiscent of fossil ferns but have a much nicer hand.
We have received our 4th shipment of the Benartex triple dyed batik charm packs. We just can't keep these beauties for long.
We have some new Kaffe Fassett in wonderful colors, and Moda's "Hushabye" which is soft colors of pink, blue & brown. We have charm packs, layer cakes, kits and yardage.
