Wide Checkers Scarf - Crochet Class
This class meets once
Instructor: Mary
Experience level: beginner, previous crochet experience helpful but not necessary
If you’re new to crochet, this is a great project for you. Crochet in rows using just two different stitches to create a cute scarf with a subtle texture.
A very easy-to-follow pattern is included. This scarf is completely reversible, and I’ll show you how to turn it into an infinity loop or cowl if you’re interested. Pick a great yarn from GQC: wool or a blend is cozy for fall/winter, and cotton or linen can make a great layering piece for our changeable Colorado spring weather.
Bring a small range of crochet hooks, H, I, J, and K to play around with gauge. (Gauge is not important to this project at all but hook size will affect the look of the pattern).
Bring or buy approximately 400 yards of worsted weight yarn (DK weight works for a spring/summer option – approx. 250 yards). A yarn needle is needed to weave in ends to finish.
NOTE: Minimum Enrollment is 2 for this class to be offered
