Beginning Quilting with Cathy

Service Description

This is a course designed to teach students the basic steps of making a quilt. Over the course of three sessions, students will be guided through the process of making a small lap quilt (approximately 40” by 60”). Topics learned will include fabric selection, rotary cutting, strip piecing with proper ¼” seam allowance, trimming blocks to size and deciding on final block layout. Options for layering, quilting and binding will be discussed in the final class session.
