Sunday November 15, 2026 12:30pm-3:30pm Kids Sewing: Stuffie Sleeping Bag Ages 8 yrs -12 yrs Cost: $50 Minimum: 3 Maximum: 6 Description: No experience needed; students will learn to sew on their sewing machine and have a completed project to take home at the end of class! Jeffco art teacher Sarah McMahon will guide students ages 8-12 through the steps for sewing a sleeping bag for your favorite stuffie OR a pillow case for your room. You will be using your sewing machine that you bring from home. See the SUPPLY LIST link at the top of the class descriptions page for additional supplies that you will need to provide for class. Parents/guardians will be required to sign an assumption of risk and liability waiver for minors at class drop-off. Supply list for stuffie sleeping bag/pillow case project: Bring your sewing machine and thread. Fabric: four fat quarters in coordinating prints Wonder clips - small size, to use instead of straight pins Fabric scissors Fabric marking pen Clear acrylic sewing ruler Self-healing cutting mat - 12”x12” or 12”x18” will be fine Parents/guardians will be required to sign an assumption of risk and liability waiver for minors at class drop-off.
