Sunday December 20, 2026 12:30pm-3:30pm Teen Beginning Sewing: reversible tote bag Ages: 13yrs - 17yrs Cost: $55 Minimum: 3 Maximum: 6 Description: No experience necessary! Learn to use your sewing machine while Jeffco art teacher Sarah McMahon guides you through the steps of sewing your own reversible tote bag. Webbing for the bag handles is provided by the instructor, however, please see the SUPPLY LIST link at the top of the class descriptions page for additional supplies that you will need to bring. Parents/guardians will be required to sign an assumption of risk and liability waiver for minors at class drop-off. Supply List for Reversible Tote Bag: Bring your sewing machine, threaded and with a full bobbin (if you’ve never used your machine, we will help you do this, just bring a spool of thread!) Fabric: two coordinating prints. Fabric A: two fat quarters, Fabric B: two fat quarters Wonder clips - small size, to use instead of straight pins Quilting ruler 8”x2.5” or larger Fabric scissors Fabric marking pen Parents/guardians will be required to sign an assumption of risk and liability waiver for minors at class drop-off.
